Right now, the South Pacific is the most popular destination of the world, with 5 of the top 20 overseas destinations in Oceania compared with only 4 in Europe. This means flights to this part of the world are filling up much further in advance than usual, especially now as we head toward summer vacation season Down Under.
Other than ever-enchanting and infinitely diverse India, South Africa is the only country with two cities in the top twenty. South Africa had the largest percentage increase in international visitor arrivals of any country in the world this year. (Nairobi, the most common gateway to East Africa, was not far behind at #24.)
