A 13-day journey provides all the highlights of this incomparable country without keeping you away from home so long that your neighbors think you’ve moved.
I've arranged private visits to palaces, museums, and other intriguing pezzetti that are noticeably absent from most itineraries. And cut-to-the-front-of-the-line access to all the important museums (skipping them would be blasphemy). Plus a visit to a perfect pastoral town or two.
And of course you still have plenty of time for investigations of your own. Browse the local shops. Deliberately lose yourself down winding lanes. Attack a perfect afternoon in a medieval square armed only with a cappuccino and a camera.
