Travel opportunity...
end of the year at the ends of the Earth:
Want to see snow and penguins this Christmas that aren’t part of an animated mall display? Head south—way south—to a land that’s blessedly free of all things plastic. You won’t miss any of the holiday’s usual sparkle—turquoise glaciers, virgin snowfields, and crystalline waters fill that role. A multitude of seals and seabirds provide the carols (albeit cacophonously). And if you really feel it just won’t be Christmas without the crowds, rest assured, hundreds of thousands of penguins will make you feel right at home. (Mercifully, parking spots are not required).
